Boarding the Ark is a family run Pet Sitting Business which was set up in April 2007 to provide both a professional and caring service to you and your pets. The company consists of Kevin & Michelle Wright and their dog Sammy. Since setting up our business we have built up a large client base of customers, many of whom have used us on a regular basis. We have enjoyed getting to know our customers (human and animals!) and always hope to provide a helpful and friendly service.
We have many years experience of caring for and working with animals. Having owned many pets ourselves we understand their many needs, and for you to know that your pet is in safe and reliable hands. We also have experience in administering injections to diabetic dogs and cats, as well as other medication.
guide dog and puppy walkers
In the two years prior to the setting up of Boarding the Ark we were puppy walkers for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. This involved taking puppies into our home for a year, providing basic training and socialising them before handing them back for further intensive training. Both puppies we looked after completed their training and became working Guide Dogs. We gained invaluable experience in these 2 years in caring for and socialising dogs.
